Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the hypnotherapy sessions I offer for smoking cessation and men's health: what to expect, how many sessions you need, and how it works.

Hypnotherapy is a structured technique that works with the subconscious mind, the part of you responsible for automatic habits and responses, to support behavioural change. It's a guided, relaxed state, not sleep, and you remain aware and in control throughout.
No. I practice as a certified hypnotherapist on a non-medical basis. I do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. If you have an underlying medical or psychological condition, please consult an appropriately registered healthcare professional, either instead of or alongside hypnotherapy sessions.
This varies by person and goal. Smoking and vaping cessation is often addressed in a small number of focused sessions, while broader habit change or wellness goals may benefit from an ongoing structured approach. I'll discuss a realistic plan with you before you begin.
Yes. While I'm based in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, sessions are available online for clients across South Africa and internationally, in addition to in-person sessions locally.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of my approach, particularly important for the men's health and wellness work, where privacy and discretion matter.
Many people find structured hypnotherapy a helpful part of quitting, particularly where previous attempts have relied on willpower alone. Results vary by individual, and I'll be upfront with you about what a realistic process looks like for your situation.
You can book directly through my online booking system, or get in touch first if you have questions before booking.
